About Nox Metals
Nox Metals is America's first automated aluminum plate cutting operation. We are based in Detroit, MI and we cut 6061, 7075, 7050, and 5000-series aluminum plate to size for aerospace, defense, and industrial manufacturing customers across the United States.
We built Nox because buying aluminum plate is slow. The traditional process involves emailing a sales rep, waiting hours or days for a quote, going back and forth on a PO, then waiting again for cutting and shipping. We replaced that with instant online quoting, automated cutting, and next-day delivery.
How it works
You select your alloy, enter your dimensions, and get a price in seconds. When you place an order, it goes directly to our cutting queue. Material is cut, inspected, and shipped with mill certs, typically within one business day. Every customer gets portal access for real-time order tracking, cert downloads, and reordering.
What we stock
We carry aluminum plate in four alloy families: 6061-T651, 7075-T651, 7050-T7451, and 5000 series (5052, 5083, 5086). We also stock aluminum round bar, flat bar, and cast tool and jig plate. DFARS compliant domestic melt material is available across all alloys.
Where we are
Our facility is at 2703 23rd Street, Detroit, MI 48216. We ship nationwide.
Who we serve
